My client is a well-established and thriving software business based in Hemel Hempstead. With year on year growth they are currently recruiting for an experienced self-sufficient Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance department.
Main areas of responsibility will include:
- General bookkeeping
- Posting of general ledger journals
- Nominal ledgers
- Accounts reconciliations
- Double entry book keeping
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Raising of invoices
- Month end journals
- Petty cash/staff expenses
You will have proven experience of all the above responsibilities and be capable of using your own initiative. Coupled with a pro-active approach and a robust can-do attitude. Good working knowledge of Excel and the ability to be hands on across the team is essential.
