Job Description

My client is a market leading international blue chip business who put customers at the heart of their business.

As they continue to develop and progress they are looking for an ambitious ACA/CA with exceptionally strong technical accounting experience and knowledge, who will relish the opportunity to take the lead advising and training the business around new accounting standards.

Understand proposed business changes and ensure that the accounting implications are appropriately communicated
Partner with strategic departments and provide accounting advice on complex transactions as part of the decision making process
Participate in / lead accounting process reviews to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Project manage impact analysis and implementation of new and revised accounting standards
Preparation of group and statutory statements, press releases and other external communications
Draft reports for the plc Board, Board Committees and the Executive Management Team on technical matters

Ideally you will be a qualified ACA / CA accountant either within a top 4 practice or the technical expert in a listed company. You will have experience of interpreting accounting standards and experience of implementing new standards across a business or client.
