Job Description

Our fast growing international entrepreneurial client is a bespoke product supplier of high quality items to blue chip clients across the world. The finance function is in the process of been moved in house as turnover is now over £6m pa and heading rapidly for £10m they require a hands on finance leader, not afraid to get into the detail, but who can equally provide the financial strategy and guidance to drive the business. 

Reporting to the founder/owner the role will manage a small team and be responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, compliance, tax, cash-flow management, treasury. In addition to the provision of timely reporting, budgets and forecasts, the role will also be a key member of the small senior management team and the successful candidate will be capable of earning the role of Finance Director and equity participant in the medium term.  

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent academics and a real intellectual curiosity. It is likely you will either be;  a practice trained accountant with subsequent experience gained in a product/FMCG type environment or; will have trained in a fast paced product led business with good all round financial control and commercial analysis experience.  Above all you must show significant career progression and drive, be able to communicate with and contribute in a fast growth international business.
